Long time no see!

Hi everyone

Can’t believe it’s been over a month since we last posted something on the blog! Although I do think we have a good excuse: We’ve had lots of visitors in the last couple of weeks!

I’m just going to post some pictures and explain some things but I don’t really feel like writing a lot so the pictures will have to do for now!

Grizzly

In July the Vancouver Canadians Baseball team had a special event: The dog day of Summer. On that day they allow dogs into the stadium. So we thought it would be nice to take my parents and Grizzly to a baseball game :)

The Vancouver Canadians

When my parents and Bert were here we decided to visit Whistler. We had a very exciting time out there, lots of unexpected things happened but that’s a story for another day (when Kris posts his pictures).

Today I want to tell you about Scandinave Spa. Scandinave opened a couple of months ago but it was our first time there. It’s similar to a spa in Europe, but it’s pretty unique for a spa in Canada. You can enjoy cold water pools, hot tubs, Saunas, steam bath,…
It has been over 2 years since I’ve last enjoyed some time in a spa so I was feeling over the moon when my parents said we should go and try it!

One thing’s for sure: We’ll go back! Hopefully this winter when there’s snow!

We also did the necessary sightseeing:

Olympic Cauldron

Vancouver’s Digital / Pixelated Orca by Douglas Coupland

Bert and the tower of Onion Rings

And last but not least: Mandatory Sushi (one of the best sushi places we’ve been to so far!

Sushi Mori’s Sushi Boat

These were all my pictures of the last little while. I will do my very best to convince Kris to process some of his because I know he has some really nice ones waiting to be posted!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

He terug leven daar in de brouwerij. Binnenkort onze beurt!!!! Groetjes

Fabrice: They are so tasty! But as you can see way too much food! Freddy: Bedankt!
