Santa Claus Parade
On Sunday we decided to go to the Santa Claus Parade, I have to admit that it wasn’t what we expected of a parade, but they’ve definitely done their best.
We are used to seeing the parade of the Carnival of Aalst. And well, people are spending one year to make the trucks that participate in the parade. So we can’t expect the Santa Claus parade to be as nice as the one we are used to (where people have more time on their hands to prepare everything…).
We had a nice time though, the weather was nice (cold but good) and it was a great opportunity to see downtown Vancouver again. The good thing about Canada is that the shops are open 7 days a week. So we were able to do some shopping on Sunday too.
Two weeks until my parents come to visit, and I am preparing our schedule to show them around:).
I have ordered tickets for a visit to the Boeing Factory and the Future of Flight aviation center (the visit is in the beginning of January). On the Boeing flight line, we will see airplanes in various stages of flight test and manufacture for airline customers around the world. We’re pretty excited to see it.
Besides that we will go to Whistler and do a sleigh ride, we will visit Bright Night at Stanley Park, we will watch Canyon Light on the Capilano Suspension Bridge, visit Victoria and many more…
Really looking forward to be together with the family and to Kris being home from work! We will definitely take some pictures and keep you up to date.

Ik maak mij nu al op voor een avondje Canada na hun terugkeer. En ja hoor Hugo, dit is meteen een verdoken zelf-invitatie. Trouwens, Ine, overmorgen zitten we terug in de Grand Bleu. 't Is maar om jullie goesting te doen krijgen hé. Alhoewel Canadese kreeft niet aan jou besteed is zeker. Tot wederhoren (was nu toch tijdje geleden).

Johan Ik vrees voor de vele foto's. Ze zitten samen he nu, en mijn papa en Kris, dus dat belooft... Wat de Grand bleu betreft, het leven is niet eerlijk. Zal ik wel werken op donderdag op ons Christmas Event. Nu met een beetje geluk ligt daar ook een stukje kreeft tussen. Drealmer: He knows, I told him to check the blog after I wrote the post, he didn't, otherwisse he could have asked me to take the picture away from the blog... Now it has to stay there forever:) But it isn't that bad, is it?:)
